In Chrome, nothing at all happens when you click on Join Meeting. When using IE or FF the Lync Web App just hangs when you try to join a meeting. Ive tried using IE11, Firefox, and Chrome. Using a Skype web app could make B2B communication easier. However, federation is still a manual process. B2B communication is a huge selling point for Microsoft Lync, especially due to its ease of federation. Ive tested on other computers, with the same user with no problems. Thus, having a HTML5 Skype app would ease the deployment and enable B2B communication. So the first thing I'm going to do is download the OCS 2007 R2 web service provider, these are some components that you would have set up to do integration in previous versions, we're going to reuse the 2007 R2 component here.
